Privacy

What we collect

• There are no accounts or logins. The only form is the comment form (see below).
• No cookies: this site doesn’t use session, advertising, or analytics cookies.
• We don’t track clicks on the buttons that lead to retailers.
• Our hosting and content delivery providers may keep technical access logs, such as IP addresses, for security and for the period set out in their own policies.

Comments

If you post a comment, we store your name, email address, and comment, along with the date. Your name and comment appear on the page where you wrote them after review; your email address is never shown on the site.

To prevent spam, your IP address is used to limit how many comments can be sent. For this we only keep a hashed counter, which expires within one day at most. Your IP address and browser data are not stored with your comment. You can ask us to delete your comment (see “Your rights” below).

Images and links from retailers

Some product images may load directly from the retailer’s servers. When that happens, your browser connects to those servers under their privacy policy.

When you follow a link to a retailer, you are using that retailer’s website and its privacy and cookie policies, including the cookies used to record purchases in its affiliate program.

Your rights

You can ask about how your data is processed, or ask us to delete it, including under the privacy laws of your state.
